Home security is always a consideration for potential buyers. They appreciate security systems which are installed and active in the home. If you have a security system in place, it is not necessary to have multiple signs posted around the property indicating that you have it. One posted at the front of the house is adequate. If your security systems are outwardly obvious, buyers may be concerned that there is excessive crime in the neighborhood. This would be particularly true of homes with security bars on all of the windows. Not only are they unsightly but they also detract from the warm, inviting feeling that you are trying to project to the buyers.
